Having grown up in Japan, I have always been fascinated by the buildings, neighbourhoods, and everyday details that give each place its own identity.
HANA GK was founded from a desire to preserve that sense of character through thoughtfully designed hospitality projects. Combining property development, renovation, interior design, branding, and operations, I work to transform underutilised properties into memorable guest experiences rooted in their local context.
From concept to launch, every project is developed with a focus on authenticity, design quality, and respect for the history and culture that make each property unique.

Designer Ryokan | Sky Tree Next Door
Horikiri Designer Ryokan
A contemporary hospitality project inspired by Japan's Showa-era architecture and traditional ryokan culture.
Located in Tokyo's Horikiri district, this licensed ryokan was purchased as a modest residential property and transformed into a distinctive boutique accommodation designed for modern travellers. The project combined Japanese heritage, contemporary design, and operational practicality to create a memorable guest experience.
From property acquisition, concept development and interior design to licensing and launch, HANA GK oversaw every stage of the project.

Designer Studio Koenji is a boutique accommodation project located in Tokyo's vibrant Koenji district. Balancing contemporary comfort with Japanese character, the space was carefully redesigned to maximise atmosphere, functionality, and guest experience. Through a restrained palette of natural materials, warm lighting, and custom styling, the project demonstrates how thoughtful design can transform a modest apartment into a destination in its own right.
